CCD-Parish School of Religion
Our CCD program for the 2010-2011 school year will begin on Sunday, September 25 at 9:30 A.M. The class will last till 10:20 A.M. We will only charge a nominal fee this year of $20.00 to cover the cost of the books. We will take registrations for grades 1-4. We will also be looking for anyone who is interested in teaching in our program so that we might begin to expand to more grade levels. RCIA classes will begin on Wednesday, September 7 at 7:00 P.M. in the rectory. Classes will last till 8:30 P.M. Schedules for the year will be given out at the first class. RCIA is process by which non-baptized candidates are received into the Catholic Church. Baptized members of other Christian denominations who wish to join the Catholic Church are not baptized again, but are received into the Church through the Sacrament of Penance, Profession of Faith, Confirmation and the Holy Eucharist.
There is no fee to attend R.C.I.A. All the materials are provided. A class schedule will be given out at the first meeting. To register, please take a registration form from the rear of the Church and bring it by or mail it to the parish office. For more information please contact Mr. Phillip Bellini. Adult Education
Course on "Biblical Walk Through the Mass"
Our "Biblical Walk Through the Mass" begins on Thursday, September 8 at 7:00 P.M. and lasts till 8:30pm. The class will be every Thursday until October 13. Â At our last class the new Revised Roman Missal will be explained with all the new responses from the laity. Â The fee for the course is $13.00
Course on the Gospel of St. Matthew
Our 24 week course on the Gospel of St. Matthew will begin on October 20 lasting until May. 7:00 to 8:30 pm every Thursday night. Fee is $32.00 per person to cover the cost of materials. It is a supplement to the Bible Timeline course we took last year but you don’t need last year’s course as a prerequisite. The course stands on its own.
